The classic 2.55 reissue flap is the first classic flap made by Coco Chanel. Hailed by enthusiasts, it's released season after season, first made in 1955.
The original aged calfskin reissue flaps have the thick, distressed and chewy calfskin leather, a leather truly superior to caviar calfskin but with more give to the panels.
The bag comes deliberately folded/creased at the bottom and in aged calfskin with aged hardware. Interior is lined in lambskin, and has a double flap.
Bijoux chain is intricately etched and can be worn double or single strap. Interior features two compartments.
In royal blue aged calfskin and brushed gold hardware. Exclusively released for the 2019 Fall/Winter collection, we searched the globe to have a chance to curate this brand new bag. The brushed gold hardware is much deeper gold than the typical aged gold hardware on the 2.55 reissues, in theme with the whole Egyptian gold style of this season's collection. The blue is a one-of-a-kind iridescent royal electric blue, not a brassy metallic but a hyper pearly iridescent bold blue. Breathtaking in person, we had to get our hands on one!
The medium 225 size is 10 inches wide, similar to the medium classic flap in size.
