This Chanel Gray Caviar Classic Grand Shopper Tote GST Bag is another timeless classic that is in season year after year in stores, now discontinued and impossible to find.

These coveted Chanel quilted totes feature the flat caviar calfskin strap instead of a full chain on the straps (for comfort and lightness). Probably one of the more versatile and practical Chanels, the bag is divided into two large compartments, and the divider is actually its own zippered compartment as well. This is the most recent version of the GST, with the thicker grommets, satin interior and "31 Rue Cambon" etching on the circular grommet hardware.

Gray caviar leather is nearly impossible to find. The caviar leather has an "iridescent" shiny sheen to the leather; it is not matte caviar or typical caviar, but iridescent caviar. Sheen can be seen most evidently when placed at an angle or observed closely.

This item is in excellent condition with very few signs of use. There is no "slouching" due to use; in fact the exterior is still pristine to the touch. Corners are clean with no signs of rubbing or scuffing. There is one small nick or scratch next to the bottom left corner of the bag (featured in photos), otherwise hte bag is pristine.
