The caviar maxi classic flaps are one of the most popular models from all of Chanel's models. This item is not to be confused with the Jumbo model, which is one (1) inch shorter, and at the Chanel boutique, the Jumbo (12 inch) and the Maxi (13 inch) are considered two different models with different price points (about a $400 difference).

This is the single flap model of the maxi, which is how Chanel originally made maxi flaps until they inserted a second flap during a steep price hike.

The material is a soft caviar leather, which have smoother nodes and a slight glossy sheen. The color is 10A Dark Red. Every Dark Red Chanel makes is different, and this has been hailed by Chanel fans as one of the most coveted - a deep red with not brown but blue and purple undertones. A true red wine cool bordeaux. Very hard to capture in photos - we have taken as many as possible, but photos do not do this bag justice. Dark wine red with cool undertones is probably most descriptive.

This item is in excellent condition with very few signs of use. Corners are clean with no signs of rubbing or scuffing. Hardware is shiny and not discolored or faded. Interior is clean. Please see photos for details.
